Engine options for the 2023 Wagoneer
If you want power, you have come to the right place with the 2023 Wagoneer! If you want one of the first two trims, the Wagoneer will have a 5.7-liter V8 that will get you around 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque that will pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Higher trims of the Wagoneer introduce a new engine option in the form of a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder that ups the horsepower to 420 and the torque to 468 lb-ft. The engine is called the Hurricane, and it comes with an engine-mounted charge cooler that adds a dedicated cooling circuit that will cool off your engine if it gets too hot. This engine also pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The towing is very impressive for the Wagoneer, as you can haul around 10,000 pounds when properly equipped.
Tech for the Wagoneer
No matter which one of the four trim levels of the Wagoneer you go with, you will be treated to a wide range of tech that is there to both inform and entertain. Included on most trims are a heads-up display, a 10-inch full-color display, and a fully digital rearview mirror that provides drivers with an unobstructed to improve their visibility range. Another standard is a 10.25-inch digital cluster with two dozen customizable menus that will give you five reconfigurable titles for at-a-glance data that will provide you with all your most used information. In addition, the Wagoneer's digital rearview mirror will give drivers video in real-time right from the forward-facing, which comes with an unobstructed view. There is also interior mood lighting with two zones with loads of different colors, including white, blue, aqua, gold, and amber, all selectable via the touchscreen. We should also mention the Uconnect system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, simultaneous phone charging, up to five user profiles, expanded connected services, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. A wireless charging pad is also available!
Safety for the Wagoneer
Not only is the Wagoneer extremely powerful and technologically advanced, but it's also one of the safest vehicles out there. Plenty of advanced safety systems available for the Wagoneer will keep you and your loved ones safe no matter where you travel. There is a standard Forward Collision Warning that will warn you when you are about to get into a head-on collision and will provide you with visual and audio cues and apply the brakes in certain situations.
