Can you tell me about the 2500's features?
Starting the lineup off is the entry-level Tradesman trim that comes with standard features like a USB port, 17-inch steel wheels, a tilting steering wheel, Bluetooth, air conditioning, a 5-inch touchscreen, power windows, and vinyl upholstery. The upper trims add remote locking and unlocking, remote ignition, LED lighting, a power-adjustable driver's seat, Apple and Android smartphone integration, the RamBox cargo management system, and automatic dual-zone climate control.
Could you talk about the Power Wagon in more detail?
The Power Wagon is the 2500's off-roading trim level. Outfitted with features like an electronic disconnect for the front stabilizer bar, an integrated front winch, and hill descent control, this truck is ready for any terrain. It also comes equipped with electronically locking differentials with a 4.10 axle ratio, a manual transfer case, tow hooks, off-road shock absorbers, and all-terrain tires.
What about the engine power?
Standard power for the Ram 2500 comes from a 6.4-liter V8 engine that generates 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. Ram pairs this engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Drivers can also choose to power their 2500 with the available 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel six-cylinder engine that produces 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic. The standard drivetrain configuration is front-wheel drive but four-wheel drive is offered for all but the Power Wagon trim level where it is standard.
